Our times are fraught with terror, with war, with conflict of all kinds, spread before us in an active media. Yet challenge, psychological depth and searching more than ever take a high profile. What did Jung find out about our times, and what were his visions of the future over the short and long term? What responses to our anxieties in the present does Jung reveal in his journey through The Red Book? What is to be the spiritual life of the future? The two talks will speak about the anxieties of the way of what is to come, what living in the ‘now’ means – and the way of the spiritual life.

Speaker: Brenda Crowther

Brenda Crowther is a Fellow of the Guild of Pastoral Psychology. She is a Jungian analyst and Depth Psychologist and a member of IAAP, AJA and UKCP and lives in South West France. Before studying Jungian psychology Brenda studied Fine Art in London and worked as a teacher, lecturer and practicing artist. She was also the editor of Harvest Journal for about 8 years and previously Vice Chair of the Jung Club in London. Her specialism has come to be The Red Book, and she led a seminar in London for seven years and has given many talks on this wonderful book. She has presented her work in USA, Switzerland, Berlin, Italy: Ascona, and UK and has written many articles.
