Ruedi Högger

Rudolf Högger PhD, born in 1940, studied History, German Literature, Theology and Analytical Psychology. His professional career was in International Development Cooperation, with its main focus on the cultural, religious and psychological backgrounds of so-called ‘development’. He was also a lecturer and research fellow at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich. His major publications are: Naga and Garuda – The other Side of Development Cooperation; The Sacred Thread – The Development of Personality according to Hindu Tradition; Presents for Buddha – The Meaning of the eight auspicious symbols in Tibetan Buddhism.
