John E Sclater

John Sclater studied Theology at Nottingham University and Cuddesdon Theological College Oxford before being ordained an Anglican Priest in 1972. He spent six months working in India before entering the Benedictine Monastery of Chevetogne in Belgium. On returning to England in 1989 he worked in Parish ministry in the diocese of Oxford and later became Chair of the Guild for two years in the nineties. His talk : “Carl Jung and the Path of Humility” was published as a Guild Pamphlet (No.244). He retired in 2002 and now lives in Wells where he is a Priest Vicar of Wells Cathedral.
