Fr. Dick Cobben, a former drama-teacher in primary and secondary schools, returned to college in 1986 for a degree in theological studies. He joined the Carmelite Order in The Netherlands in 1994. Prior to his role as Provincial Superior (May, 2011 – May, 2017) he was committed to different forms of pastoral care. His present commitments are retreat-work and spiritual direction.
