Eva Wertenschlag-Birkhäuser, born in Basel, Switzerland, is a Jungian analyst in private practice. She is President of the Research and Training Centre for Depth Psychology (Zürich) and is active there as a faculty member and training analyst. Beside research and teaching on alchemy and art she has investigated and lectured on the culture of the West African Dogon for many years. She recently published a book about the Dogon creation myth.
