Adrian Scott BD MSc is a poet, spiritual director and facilitator and retreats and other events. He lives in Sheffield (UK) with his artist wife and two border collies. He discovered Jungian Analysis during a breakdown in 2014 and has pursued that interest, becoming Chair of the Guild of Pastoral Psychology in 2024. He is the author of five collections of poetry. His third volume entitled A Night Sea Journey is an examination of his breakdown through the paradigm of Jung’s work and contains a whole cycle of poems dedicated to St Francis. In his twenties he was part of an experimental Franciscan community and has made a deep study of St Francis and made numerous visits to Assisi. He regularly leads retreats based on the life of the Saint from Assisi.
