By tube: the Essex Church is about 5 minutes walk from Notting Hill underground station, which is served by the Central, Circle and District Lines. Take the exit signed "Kensington Church Street". Walk straight ahead, past Waterstones, and then cross Kensington Church Street. Palace Gardens Terrace is the next turning on the right. The Essex Church is on the left after the restaurant.

By bus: the Essex Church is well served by buses. The following stop close to the Essex Church (either in Palace Gardens Terrace or on Notting Hill Gate): 27, 28, 31, 52, 70, 94, 148, 328 and 390.
